Introduction:
The City of Los Angeles Electronic Vault is equipped with a powerful search engine that allows the user to search by Project Title, Project Street, ... etc.

To get the best results out of this search engine, try to use as many search options as you can, e.g., search by Project Title first, then search by Project Street, ... etc. Compare the results of all searches and see which records best represents what you are searching for.

What is "Scan-on-Demand" :

The Bureau of Engineering has about three million records in its vault and putting all of these records online is a major effort that will benefit all City citizens, developers, engineers, historians and many others.

Our plan is bring you these records online as we receive a request for any of them. This way we will make sure that our efforts are directed towrads what our customers need first, i.e. we are scanning on demand.

Drawings that were scanned will be available for viewing or downloading online without a need to submit any request.

Submitting a request is only required for drawings that were not scanned previously.

Requests will be handled in the order they were received.
