REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBMITTING FINAL TRACT AND PARCEL MAPS

The following must be on file with the Constituent Services & Permits Program, Land Development Group, 201 North Figueroa Street Room 200, Los Angeles, CA 90012 before or concurrently with the filing of a final tract map.


TRACT MAPS

1. A completed Final Map Submittal Application Form.

2. A copy of the tentative map, which has been filed with the Department of City Planning.

3. Preliminary Subdivision Report.

4. Two copies of the County Tax Assessor's Map.

5. Calculations for traverses. Calculations must be legible. Describe starting point on calculations for each traverse when there are many traverse or multi-tract maps.

6. Two copies of a district map with the ownership deeds plotted on it and showing how the boundary was established; a work sheet should also be included where further clarification is needed.

7. Copies of all deeds for City easements within the tract boundary.

8. Copies of all survey field notes including City of Los Angeles engineering tie notes.

9. Two copies of underlying tract map labeled "Underlying Tract."

10. Two copies of map containing the basis of bearings labeled "Basis of Bearings."

11. The entire tract boundary should be labeled. All deeds used to establish the boundary and adjoiners should be submitted and arranged in chronological order.

12. Prints for submittal: Original of map sheet; brownline of the map sheet; 15 prints of the map sheet; Four prints of the title sheet.

13. The engineer/surveyor of record as shown on the final map should match that which was shown on the tentative map. If not, a release letter stating the change from the old engineer to the new existing engineer, dated and signed by the owner will be required at the time of the final map submittal,

14. Note: Any future resubmittals will require a return of the marked up print and three copies of the print for checking.

15. All submittals and resubmittals will be done at the LDG counter.
